Moscow Giving Circle and Latah County Community Foundation
Funded new Great Outdoors Program, offering a variety of nature activities that promote well-being in our community. Activities include morning bird walks with Palouse Audubon, picnics with groups like Families Together, stargazing with the Moscow High School Environmental Club, and hands-on service projects. Activities address the following needs: physical activity for youth and adults, appreciation for and interaction with nature, multigenerational interactions, and emotional well-being enhanced by connecting to the natural world. Idaho Native Plant Society
Grant to purchase native plants and supplies for the Wetlands Restoration Project. Students from the Moscow High School Environmental Club have planted over 700 native sedges, forbs and shrubs, and are watering them throughout the summer to get them established. Come stroll the site and see what's growing!
